Gaztelueta – Congress of Young Scientists Cambridge 2016

Un numeroso grupo de 2 Bachillerato Ciencias de Gaztelueta ha participado en el Congress of Young Scientists, que en la edición 2016 se ha celebrado en Cambridge. Divididos en cinco grupos de investigación, los tres últimos meses los alumnos han trabajado en los proyectos (ver abajo). El Jueves 25 expusieron las conclusiones ante un jurado formado por profesores de University of Cambridge, University of Warkick, London Imperial College, INCAR-CSIC, Universidad de Alicante, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y University of Bath. El Jurado estuvo presidido por Mr Clive I Dytor, Trinity College Cambridge (MA), Wycliffe Hall Oxford (MA) y Head Master of The Oratory School (2000-2015). Las intervanciones fueron íntegramente en Inglés. La jornada académica se celebró en The Pitt Building de Cambridge.

La visita de estudios a Cambridge incluyó un recorrido por la Universidad, que se extiende por el casco urbano de la ciudad. La mañana del viernes 26 participaron en la demostración de experimentos científicos que el Cambridge Science Centre organizó especialmente para el grupo de Gaztelueta . El programa en Cambridge terminó con el lunch en el Hall del Pembroke College, fundado en 1347, que es el tercero más antiguo de la universidad.
